According to me, the S23 Ultra was one of the best phones in 2023. And if it’s the best phone, then how is it going to be its successor? I’m going to give you the first review at the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Design
for the 1st time, when I saw the OS & experienced it, I’m going to tell you what I felt. When I held the phone for the 1st time, I felt it was slightly different & it felt light.
- It’s lightweight.
- It has sharp edges & it has a curved screen.
- It’s a little boxy & the frame is flat.
- It’s not completely flat, it’s curved on the sides.
- This is the titanium frame.
But then you also have that flat side. The in-hand feel is very good, but it feels a little sharp in the hand. And why is it lightweight? Because now the Ultra has a titanium frame. The Ultra has a titanium frame, but the Armor aluminium frame is available in the Plus & Base variants.
So titanium is only for the Ultra. Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Color The Ultra comes in Titanium Yellow, Titanium Grey & normal colors. It’s a little different, if I talk about the blue color, it’s slightly darker. And the shades you get in the Plus & Base variants are in a lighter color. If you look at the rest, the frame & back are color coordinated, but not this blue one. You get a greyish frame in blue & a blue color, it looks different.

- You get a 6.8” QHD Plus display in the Ultra.
- You get an LTPO display in all 3 variants.
- It’s adaptive, so it’s from 1Hz to 120Hz. But in terms of brightness, it’s increased by 40%. It’s now a 2600 nits brightness.
- You get a 2K HD Plus screen in the Plus & Ultra variants. But the base variant is Full HD+.
One more thing, the display is strong & Gorilla Glass Armor is present in the Ultra. There’s another big change in the display. It’s now a flat display & the bezels have become very thin. But there are unwanted touches, not with this one. The S Pen support is still there.

There were a lot of rumours that there will be 5-7 year updates. We haven’t got the confirmation yet.
there’s One UI 6.1 which is based on Android 14. Samsung Galaxy S24 Series OS & UI, We were expecting a lot of AI features in the OS. You get AI features in all 1st party apps. Whether it’s dialer, video editing, camera, photo editing. There’s AI everywhere.
Important features
You can talk to anyone in any language irrespective of the language. There’s live transcription in the language. You’re talking to the dialer in Hindi & if the other person doesn’t know your language, they can convert it to English. So there’s a live translate feature. There are also features of generative AI. For example, you can create wallpapers. You can fill generative fields while editing photos.
For example, it can summarize chats & notes. Basically, it’ll make the pointers smaller with the help of AI.
There’s another interesting thing. You don’t have to talk or type. You just have to search on Google. If it’s Ultra, use the S Pen. If it’s normal, use your fingers.

- The Plus & Ultra, the base variant comes in 12GB RAM & 256GB ROM.
- In Ultra, you get 1TB RAM & 512GB ROM.
Battery
It’s bigger than the S23 series. Especially in Base & Plus. Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Battery. The base variant has a 4000mAh battery. And you get a 4900mAh battery in Plus. In Ultra, you get a 5000mAh battery.
And the charging remains the same at 45W. The vapour cooling chamber has increased by 1.9 times in all 3 phones. So it’s nearly doubled. The thermals are in check in all 3 phones. So that’s good.
By the way, Samsung’s enterprise-level security feature knocks. Knocks security across the board in all 3 phones.
Let’s talk about the cameras. The S23 Ultra had a standout telephoto camera. And let me tell you, they’ve gone further in telephoto. Especially if I talk about Ultra. It has a quad camera setup. Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Camera It has a 200MP primary sensor & a 50MP periscope. It’s a 12MP ultrawide. It has a 10MP telephoto sensor. The 50MP periscope gives you 5X optical zoom. And then you also have that 12MP which gives you 3X. If I talk about the plus & base variants, it has a 50MP, 12MP & 10MP triple camera setup.
