Holy sites is a place that is thought of as a sacred or holy to a particular religion. There are various places with long held religious and spiritual significance in the heart and minds of American people are deemed holy. As we know there are different people, having different believe and the believe can be in a tree, river, lakes, springs, groves etc. No doubt there are different places in the world which are perceived as sacred. In USA the sites which weather man made or a natural wonder, they can considered as sacred because what history has unfolded there or simply the depth of faith their natural beauty displays. there are places of pleasant beauty of course can not be denied as sacred .
1.The Baltimore basilica

The baltimore basilica is also known as Basilica of national shrine of the assumption of blessed virgin Mary. it is a parish church ranked minor basilica.
It was the first catholic cathedral was built in US after the nation’s founding and was the first major religious building constructed after the adoption of the U.S constitution.
It is one of the seats of the catholic archdiocese in Baltimore, Maryland.
2. Mount Shasta

Mount Shasta is a potentially active volcano at the southern and of the cascade range in siskiyou country , California. At an elevation of 14,179 feet, it is the second- highest peak in the cascade and the fifth highest in the state . The area was founded by the Peter skene ogden, who named the mountain in 1827 for the local Sashta Indians. E.D Pearce made the first ascent in 1854. Mount Shasta is so famous because “the native American have always felt that the mountain was the sacred center of the universe, ” Ashalyn says .

The Islamic center of Washington DC is a mosque or Islamic culture center in Washington DC. it is located on embassy row on Massachusetts Avenue just east of the bridge over Rock Creek. It is opened in 1957, and was the largest mosque in western hemisphere . This mosque was built by the howar and other Muslim diplomats helped found and provide early funding to a committee to build a mosque in the US capital. It was founded by the Mohammad Jawad chirri to perpetuate the social, religious principles of Islam in the US states and to teach the Arabic language. It is an institution that stand to help anyone and serve as a source of guidance for Muslims.

No rivers flow into or out of the lake ,the evaporation is compensated for by rain and snowfall at the rate such that the total amount of water is replaced every 250 years. spiritual believe that the lake is a source of positive energy from the Earth natural power grid.
5. Unity temple - Chicago Illinois

In 1905 a lightning strike started a fire and destroyed the wood-framed of oak park unity Church, after that oak park resident Frank Lloyd offered to design a new church, which is known as unity temple of Chicago.
As we discussed, Unity temple was designed by the American architect Frank Lloyd wright and build between 1905 -1908 is a Unitarian universalist church in Oak park, Illinois. The purpose of unity temple is the” service of the man “.the temple’s plan was to creating a sense of unity and allowing up to 400 congregants to be within 40 feet of the pulpit.
The Unity temple was among the first monumental buildings. The building is so amazing as well as very beautiful that receives natural light through clerestories along the upper walls.
